Description of the project and content of www.psyGA.info

The project

The environment we work in is changing, becoming more digital, as well as faster. This is having an effect on mental health. The last several years have seen a significant rise in the number of absences due to mental ill health: an increase of 97 percent over past 11 years.

psyga.info aims to provide users with practice-based information on the issue of mental health in the workplace. Its eLearning tools, concepts for seminars, guidelines and working aids are designed to allow companies to organise work in an employee-oriented way, and, in turn, to prevent burnout.

The materials are tailored to the needs of a range of target groups in small and medium-sized enterprises. They are aimed at managers and employees, as well as people whose job involves creating healthier working conditions. With the help of its partners, psyGA is applying this knowledge to businesses.

The project is being supported by the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, as part of the New Quality of Work Initiative. BKK Dachverband is carrying out the project management. Professional expertise is being provided to psyGA by the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
